Holy Trinity Sunday Services

Our Sunday services are held at 11.15am and 4pm and all are welcome to come and join us.

Our 11.15am service is also live streamed and can be watched on our YouTube channel here

On the first Sunday in March, May, July, September and November we join with our Church family from All Saints, Higher Walton for a Celebration Service at 10.30am.  The location of these rotates between the churches, check out the events calendar to see where the next one will be happening.

Our 11.15am service includes: a reading from the Bible, a talk, prayers, songs and twice a month we share Holy Communion.  On the second Sunday of the month we have a Parade Service and our uniformed groups from 1st Hoghton Scouts join us for a short, interactive, all age service which is lots of fun.  All our services are easy to follow on a screen and everyone is welcome to come and join in.

We also have an informal service called 4forAll aimed at families with children which is held every Sunday in our Church Hall at 4pm.

There is parking available on site.

Come and join us!

If you have any questions about our Services or need to get in touch with us about any other enquiry we will be happy to help. Please Contact Us for more information.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday or Wednesday morning.

Where and When

All Saints, Higher Walton: We meet at the Church Building (details here) for our Sunday Service starting at 9.15am. For your first visit, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team.
We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after the service. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.
Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up.

What about my children?
Children are welcome at all our services.  Although we don't have specific groups for children during the morning services, they are always welcome and can often be found getting involved.  We also have paces at the back of both churches with toys and craft materials for children to use.

Our main service which caters for children happens every Sunday afternoon at 4pm up in the hall at Holy Trinity, Hoghton.  Everyone is welcome at 4forAll.  This is a very informal service with songs, talking, prayers and crafts.

Getting Connected

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, in the evenings. Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group
